OAKLAND -- Another fire broke out Friday at the Moss Landing battery plant a day after an Alameda County judge tentatively designated a lawsuit by more than 200 residents and business owners over alleged exposure from a 2025 fire as complex.

Plaintiffs objected to a proposed class action-type deadline.
