California's first Delete Act enforcement actions put data brokers on notice: Regulators are moving quickly, and companies that delay compliance face mounting penalties and obligations.
Less than two weeks after the most critical compliance deadline for data brokers, California regulators announced enforcement actions against companies that have allegedly failed to comply with the state's new registration and consumer rights requirements.
