TCL has sued Samsung Electronics America Inc., accusing its larger rival of falsely marketing lower-end televisions as "Mini LED" models to regain market share TCL had taken from Samsung.
TTE Technology Inc., which does business as TCL North America, filed the lawsuit Monday in federal court in Santa Ana, alleging violations of the federal Lanham Act and California's false advertising and unfair competition laws.
