Drucilla "Dru" Ramey, who transformed the Bar Association of San Francisco and spent decades advancing women and minorities in the legal profession, died Aug. 5.
Drucilla "Dru" Stender Ramey, a civil rights lawyer and pioneering bar leader who spent decades pushing the legal profession to open its doors to women and minorities, died Aug. 5 in San Francisco from complications of non-small cell lung cancer. She was 80.
