Meta sued over alleged AI-driven layoffs targeting protected workers
Twenty-six Meta employees have sued the company, alleging it used artificial intelligence to help select workers for layoffs in a way that disproportionately targeted pregnant employees, workers with disabilities and those who took protected leave. Meta denies that AI made the termination decisions.
