Senate unanimously passes unemployment fraud legislation
SB 58 would implement two measures recommended by the State Auditor: barring the agency from printing Social Security numbers on correspondence and requiring it create a specific division to implement fraud prevention efforts, especially during high-volume periods like the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
