Shyamalan’s ‘Servant’ infringes on 2013 Italian film, lawsuit claims

The creator of the film “Emanuel” says Apple TV’s new series stole her plot line.

An Italian countess and filmmaker filed a lawsuit Wednesday against director M. Night Shyamalan, claiming his new Apple TV Plus series is a wholesale copy of her 2013 film.
