LOS ANGELES - Judge Manuel L. Real on Nov. 3 marked 50 years on the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles. Perhaps more remarkable, at age 92, he still hears a full docket of cases and voices no plans to retire.
The milestone was the occasion for a celebration - attended by a crowd of judges, former clerks and family - held in his courtroom in the federal courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
