Daily Journal Staff Writer VAN NUYS - The young woman asked Commissioner Scott Silverman to drop the restraining orders she had sought against her daughter's father. "I want to give him another chance," she said with the aid of a Spanish-speaking interpreter. Silverman glanced at the case file in front of him then back up at her.
