LONG BEACH - During the summer after his first year of law school, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Halim Dhanidina clerked for the county's public defender's office. He liked his experience, so he spent the summer after his second year with the federal public defender. Heading into his third year, Dhanidina knew exactly what he wanted to do with his legal career.
