LOS ANGELES - With his appointment to the bench, Judge Christopher K. Lui has now
seen criminal law from every possible side. Lui has worked as a prosecutor in the
U.S. attorney's office, as well as doing white-collar defense in private practice.
He says that his unusual background is something that has often come in handy during
his first year as a judge.
