PASADENA - It had been his dream since childhood for Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Gus Gomez to set foot in Brazil's Maracana Stadium, the hallowed soccer mecca in Rio de Janeiro that's housed some of the sports' most legendary performers and performances.
