Discovery while California and other states pursue their antitrust challenge, California's 2nd District Court of Appeal ruled MICRA's damages cap does not apply to a nursing home's custodial neglect of an elderly resident, and a federal judge denied Visa's bid to sanction plaintiffs' lawyers in the Pornhub trafficking litigation. Also: Two small businesses challenge the Trump administration's latest tariffs, and former Supreme Court advocate Thomas Goldstein is sentenced to six years in prison.
