Also: Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman asks a judge to halt payments from a four billion dollar child sexual abuse settlement, arguing up to eighty-one percent of the more than eleven thousand claims may be fraudulent. And: Politico reports that Governor Newsom is rallying unions, teachers and health care groups to isolate SEIU-UHW and kill a proposed billionaire wealth tax before it reaches the November ballot.
