Opioid plaintiffs seek discovery into McKinsey's work for Johnson & Johnson

Plaintiffs in multidistrict litigation over McKinsey's role in the opioid crisis want Johnson & Johnson to produce documents and witnesses about the consulting firm's work for the drugmaker.

McKinsey & Co. has paid more than $1 billion to resolve government claims over consulting work that allegedly helped Purdue Pharma boost sales of OxyContin. Now, plaintiffs still pursuing claims against McKinsey over the opioid crisis want to examine the consulting giant's relationship with Johnson & Johnson.
