California Senate advances courtroom access, 'Epstein loophole' bills

Measures would protect media access to public proceedings, restrict secret immunity and anonymity agreements and curb abusive litigation against domestic violence victims

The California Senate has approved bills protecting media access to courtrooms and closing the so-called "Epstein loophole" involving secret immunity or anonymity agreements in cases with minor victims.
