Judge orders Trump administration to release funds for immigrant children's lawyers

U.S. District Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín found the administration violated a preliminary injunction by withholding funds for legal representation of unaccompanied immigrant children and ordered the money released immediately.

A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to immediately release funds withheld for months from a program providing lawyers to unaccompanied immigrant children, finding the government violated both the language and purpose of a preliminary injunction issued last year.
