Angels insurers clash over costs of Tyler Skaggs wrongful-death defense

ACE American Insurance Co. says Arch Insurance wrongly refused for years to defend the Angels in litigation over pitcher Tyler Skaggs' fatal overdose and should reimburse more than $100,000 in defense costs.

One of the Los Angeles Angels' insurers is suing another insurer for allegedly refusing for more than four years to defend the baseball club in wrongful-death litigation stemming from pitcher Tyler Skaggs' 2019 fatal drug overdose.
