AI disclosure bill for State Bar heads to Newsom

California lawmakers returned from summer recess by sending Gov. Gavin Newsom a bill requiring the State Bar to disclose its use of artificial intelligence in developing bar exam content. The Assembly also advanced measures on child custody mediation, Los Angeles wildfire aid, disability-access lawsuits and judicial privacy.
