Robotics startup Bot Company faces labor law class action
San Francisco-based robotics startup Bot Company is accused of 10 Labor Code violations with potentially hundreds of class members. The plaintiffs claim that the company engaged in time-rounding and wrongfully withheld pay.
A San Francisco-based startup building robotic assistants is facing a proposed class action over alleged Labor Code violations.
The suit filed in San Francisco Superior Court accuses Bot Company of failure to pay workers for all hours worked and maintain accurate payroll records over the past four years. The 10 alleged labor law violations also include failure to pay minimum wages and provide proper sick leave.
