Paramount, states clash over trial schedule in merger challenge

Paramount Skydance and a coalition of 12 state attorneys general are urging a federal judge to adopt vastly different trial schedules in the states' bid to block the company's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, with the media company warning that delays could cost it more than $200 million a month.

Paramount Skydance Corp. is far apart from 12 state attorneys general and the Writers Guild of America about when a trial should occur on the Clayton Act complaint seeking to block the company's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery Inc.
