LAUSD faces challenge over students' bid to join desegregation lawsuit

Two Black students are seeking to intervene in a lawsuit challenging the district's race-conscious education policies. U.S. District Judge Hernán D. Vera suggested the students may have distinct interests rooted in a decades-old desegregation order.
