FTC sues Hims & Hers over alleged deceptive subscription practices
The Federal Trade Commission, joined by Los Angeles County and Utah officials, sued telehealth provider Hims & Hers, alleging the company automatically enrolled patients in paid prescription subscriptions without their consent, made cancellations difficult and improperly shared customer data with social media platforms despite promising privacy.
