Breyer signals fantasy sports suit could support injunction against DraftKings
A federal judge questioned DraftKings' argument that players suffered no economic injury from participating in allegedly illegal daily fantasy sports contests, suggesting the plaintiffs may have grounds to seek an injunction barring the games in California.
An injunction preventing online gaming giant DraftKings from offering some of its pay-to-play fantasy sports in California could be the next step in a consumer class action against the company, U.S. District Judge Charles R. Breyer suggested.
