Tesla faces new racial harassment and discrimination suit

The suit comes as the California Civil Right's Department prepares for trial over similar accusations against Tesla.

A former employee is suing Tesla Inc. over alleged racial discrimination, harassment and retaliation. The suit was filed Monday and claims that Derek Goudeau, a Black man, was called racial slurs by his supervisors. Goudeau worked as a lead in Tesla's Freemont factory location.
