A pro se plaintiff noted for bringing repeated lawsuits under the California Invasion of Privacy Act must get the court's permission before filing any more CIPA lawsuits in the Central District of California, a Los Angeles federal judge ruled Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge R. Gary Klausner declared Vivek Shah a vexatious litigant after he brought 30 lawsuits in the past five years, the vast majority of which were dismissed early on.
