A State Bar Court judge rejected requests to delay setting a firm trial date in attorney Paul Kiesel's disciplinary case, while promising flexibility to resolve discovery disputes as they arise.
State Bar Court Judge Alison R. Worthington on Monday set a firm March 9 trial date for attorney Paul R. Kiesel's disciplinary case, rejecting defense arguments that years of investigations, missing communications and extensive third-party discovery could make the schedule unrealistic.
