LAX people mover contractor blames city for delays in $115M lawsuit

The consortium building LAX's delayed Automated People Mover claims airport officials deliberately prolonged construction to avoid a $115 million payment, contradicting a civil grand jury's findings that both sides contributed.

The consortium building Los Angeles International Airport's long-delayed Automated People Mover sued the city, alleging its airport authority deliberately obstructed completion of the project and falsely blamed the contractor for years of delays to avoid paying an alleged contractual debt of more than $115 million.
