DOJ seeks to join challenge to California clean truck rules

Federal filing says Air Resources Board is trying to enforce emissions standards despite Clean Air Act preemption.

The U.S. Department of Justice has moved to intervene in the American Free Enterprise Chamber of Commerce's case against California's clean truck rules. This is the latest of several Trump administration moves seeking to assert control over the multi-case litigation.
