Environmental groups sue Barstow over approval of BNSF logistics hub

A coalition of environmental organizations alleges Barstow violated the California Environmental Quality Act by approving BNSF's 5,000-acre rail yard and warehouse project based on an inadequate environmental review that understated air pollution and habitat impacts. The suit seeks to halt construction of the project.
