Attorneys representing the second bellwether plaintiff scheduled to go to trial in the social media addiction cases announced Tuesday that they reached a confidential settlement with YouTube, removing the platform from the case that was scheduled to begin July 27 in Los Angeles.
The plaintiff, a minor identified as R.K.C., will continue pursuing claims against Meta, Snap Inc. and ByteDance.
