Latest ballot results: 6 new judges, 6 runoffs, 2 incumbents re-elected

Updated primary results show six new judges elected, two incumbents holding their seats and six races advancing to November runoffs as counties continue counting ballots statewide.

Two challenged incumbent judges have retained their seats, six new judges have been elected and six other races are headed to runoffs, according to the latest unofficial results from the June 2 primary.

Several counties are still counting ballots. Election officials must complete final official results by July 2. Some counties have already finished.

In Modoc County, Judge Randall Harr won re-election with 1,388 votes to attorney Thomas Gifford's 723.
