Witness says Finnerty helped San Bruno family recover Girardi settlement funds

A lawyer who helped recover millions of dollars from Tom Girardi testified that Robert W. Finnerty's knowledge of Girardi Keese was critical to securing repayment for the Ruigomez family, supporting the defense in Finnerty's State Bar misconduct trial.

An attorney who helped recover from disbarred lawyer Tom Girardi roughly $13 million for a family injured in the San Bruno gas explosion testified Wednesday that Robert W. Finnerty's inside knowledge of Girardi Keese was instrumental in securing repayment of the family's settlement funds, bolstering Finnerty's defense in his State Bar misconduct trial.
