Jury seated in PG&E wrongful death trial over fatal electrocution

The lawsuit alleges a downed PG&E power line caused the death of agricultural consultant Steven Dodge at a Monterey County ranch, while the utility denies responsibility and contests punitive damages.

A San Francisco Superior Court jury was seated Thursday in a wrongful death lawsuit accusing PG&E Corp. of responsibility for the death of a Bay Area agricultural consultant who was electrocuted by a fallen power line while working at a Monterey County ranch.
