Ahead of a hearing next week, plaintiffs' attorneys who secured an $8.8 million verdict over a 2021 odor crisis in the city of Carson maintain the trial record fully supports the jury's findings, despite defense efforts to overturn the verdict and the case's multi-million punitive damages award.
"Defendants' attempts to undermine the jury's verdict come as no surprise," Kelly W. Weil of Cotchett Pitre & McCarthy LLP said in an email Wednesday.
