Adobe hit with derivative suit over AI training claims
A shareholder derivative suit filed in Northern California accuses Adobe executives of misleading investors about the content used to train the company's AI models, alleging the strategy exposed the company to copyright litigation and contributed to a sharp decline in its stock price.
Two plaintiffs' attorneys who successfully sued Elon Musk in a securities case earlier this year are now targeting Adobe, after the company's chief financial officer announced his resignation last week.
Francis A. Bottini Jr. and Aaron P. Arnzen of La Jolla firm Bottini & Bottini, Inc. filed a derivative lawsuit in federal court Tuesday alleging Adobe executives misled investors by claiming the company's AI models were trained on licensed and public-domain content....
