A former xAI engineer has sued the artificial intelligence company and its parent, Space Exploration Technologies Corp., alleging he was fired after repeatedly warning company leaders that Grok, xAI's chatbot, posed risks of discrimination, misinformation and misuse in developing dangerous weapons.
The lawsuit comes as SpaceX prepares for a public offering expected to raise about $75 billion, a record-breaking IPO that would be the largest in history.
