A Los Angeles County jury has awarded more than $34.4 million to a former tax attorney who suffered a traumatic brain injury in a 2020 motorcycle crash, finding that a dangerous roadway condition at a Granada Hills intersection contributed to the collision and that the City of Los Angeles lost its design immunity defense.
