Keker names veteran trial lawyer James Slaughter as managing partner
Veteran trial lawyer R. James Slaughter will lead Keker, Van Nest & Peters, emphasizing continuity, collaboration and talent development as the San Francisco litigation boutique navigates emerging legal challenges.
Keker, Van Nest & Peters LLP announced Monday the selection of veteran complex commercial trial attorney R. James Slaughter as the firm's new managing partner.
"I was incredibly humbled when my partners asked me to do it," Slaughter said in an interview at the firm's downtown San Francisco office. "I care deeply about this place. I can't imagine practicing law anywhere else." Slaughter has been with the firm since 2001.
