A Los Angeles judge kept the next social media addiction bellwether pool intact and suggested multiple judges could hear cases simultaneously as coordinated litigation moves forward.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Carolyn B. Kuhl on Friday laid out the framework for the next phase of social media addiction trials, signaling that more than one judge could be assigned to hear the cases simultaneously.

During a trial setting conference, Kuhl said she intends to keep the existing order of "Pool 2" bellwether plaintiffs - minors identified as S.J., P.M.Y and K.D.B. - despite requests to reconsider the sequencing.
