Erika Girardi lawsuit over alleged law firm transfers dismissed after settlement
A lawsuit accusing Erika Girardi of receiving millions in allegedly misappropriated Girardi Keese funds was dismissed after the parties reached a settlement days before trial was to start.
One of the multi-year legal battles over millions of dollars in allegedly misappropriated funds from the defunct Girardi Keese law firm has come to an end following a settlement and dismissal of the case against the wife of convicted former attorney Tom Girardi.
On May 22, U.S. District Judge Anne Hwang signed an order dismissing the case in its entirety. LHA Land, LLC v. Erika N. Girardi, et al., 2:25-cv-01038-AH, (C.D. Cal, filed Feb. 6, 2025).
