Six Flags settles decade-long lawsuit over Santa Clara River pollution
Six Flags Magic Mountain agreed to a new consent decree requiring pollution controls, environmental mitigation payments and compliance monitoring to resolve long-running allegations of wastewater violations affecting the Santa Clara River.
In a major resolution to a decade-long environmental legal battle, Six Flags Magic Mountain and a coalition of advocates have finalized a consent decree to address water pollution concerns at the Valencia theme park. The new agreement replaces a 2015 settlement and resolves a motion for civil contempt filed this year.
