3 social media giants settle with first bellwether plaintiff ahead of addiction trial
Snap, TikTok and YouTube settled with the first bellwether plaintiff in the sprawling social media addiction multidistrict litigation days before trial, leaving Meta as the sole remaining defendant in a closely watched June trial over allegations the platforms were designed to addict children and teens.
