Judge recuses Santa Clara DA from Stanford protest retrial
Attorney general to take over prosecution of Stanford protest defendants.
A Santa Clara County judge granted the defense's request to recuse the district attorney's office from the retrial of Stanford students accused of vandalizing school property during a pro-Palestinian protest in 2024, defense attorney Anthony J. Brass confirmed to the Daily Journal.
