A Los Angeles County jury on Thursday found LAPD Officer William Jones not liable for the December 2021 shooting death of 14-year-old Valentina Orellana-Peralta, who was killed when a round from his department-issued AR-15 ricocheted inside a North Hollywood Burlington store and pierced the changing room wall where she hid with her mother.
