Uber is seeking to dismiss more than 20 lawsuits in a federal multidistrict litigation over alleged sexual assaults on passengers, arguing that the plaintiffs failed to comply with court-ordered discovery requirements. Plaintiffs' attorneys say they have struggled to locate some of their clients.
The motion targets 23 individual cases consolidated in the litigation, part of a broader set of claims numbering in the thousands accusing Uber drivers of sexual assault.
