Settlement ends last Twitter executive severance suit

The last lawsuit from Twitter's post-acquisition executive firings ends in settlement, closing out claims Musk denied millions in severance after labeling terminations "for cause."

The final lawsuit brought by a former Twitter executive over Elon Musk's 2022 takeover of the company has been dismissed with prejudice following a settlement, closing the last remaining case tied to the mass firings that followed the acquisition.

The resolution ends claims by former chief marketing officer Leslie Berland, who alleged she was wrongfully denied more than $20 million in severance benefits after being terminated days after Musk completed his $44 billion purchase ...
