Youth climate challenge falls short at 9th Circuit
In a closely watched case, the 9th Circuit held that young plaintiffs lacked standing to challenge greenhouse gas policies they say favor present-day consumption over future harm.
Three federal appellate judges on Thursday turned away 18 California children suing over claims that the government discounts their future by applying faulty cost-benefit rules to greenhouse gas emissions.
