Jury finds willful infringement in Kawasaki robotics patent case

A federal jury found Rorze Corp. willfully infringed a Kawasaki robotic arm patent, awarding $48.35 million in damages and opening the door to treble damages and attorney fees.

A Northern District of California jury found Rorze Corporation willfully infringed a Kawasaki Heavy Industries robotic arm patent in March, exposing the company to up to $145 million in damages -- a figure the court could triple.
