A Los Angeles judge on Thursday confirmed a final arbitration award against former CriticalPoint Partners LLC vice presidents Chapin Newhard and Philippe Didisheim, upholding a judgment that requires them to pay more than $1.1 million in disgorgement damages for using stolen proprietary data to launch rival firms.

Superior Court Judge Jerrold Abeles rejected arguments by the respondents that the award improperly ordered disgorgement against the defendant's respective companies...
